About the Center

A consistent presence during the years that matter most

Children come to learn, to explore their talents, and to build the skills and confidence needed to thrive as independent, engaged members of society.

The program offers a full complement of enrichment activities: art, photography, theater, music, nutrition, organic gardening, cooking, computer skills, and sports such as swimming, soccer, and martial arts. A library and computer lab support reading, writing, and design workshops, ensuring that creativity is matched with academic growth and digital literacy. Everything is designed to spark curiosity while building practical competencies that carry into adulthood.

Situated on a 3,910-square-meter campus with fruit trees and space for sustainability projects, Casa da Criança can welcome up to 300 children each day. Its location in a high-need neighborhood has made it a stabilizing force — not just for students, but for the entire community. The center's consistent presence fosters safer streets, stronger families, and a sense of shared investment in the next generation.
